Desert Mallee | Honey for Life

$15.50

Desert Mallee, also known as Eucalyptus concinna, is a tree endemic to Australia. Collected from the trees in the red ochre soils of Western Australia's historic Goldfields district.

This honey, in taste and colour, embodies the harsh extremes of the desert environment it's collected from. Droughts, fires and hot summer days are what these Desert Mallee trees survive to still be able to produce the sweet nectar our bees collect.

A great tasting honey with strong intensive flavours and a lot of history!

Estimated delivery between October 30 and November 01. Order within 2 hours.

FAQs

It features rare, highly active honeys like Jarrah, Marri, Karri, and Blackbutt — all 100% raw, unheated, and unblended for maximum potency.

Both are powerful active honeys, but Jarrah is prized for its high TA levels, smooth caramel flavour, and naturally low GI — making it a strong natural alternative to Manuka.

TA (Total Activity) measures a honey’s antibacterial strength. Higher TA+ levels indicate stronger natural antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.

Enjoy it straight from the spoon, dissolve in warm water, drizzle over food, or take daily for wellness. Avoid high heat to preserve its natural enzymes.

Raw honey changes naturally with the seasons and floral sources. Variations in colour or crystallisation are signs of authenticity.

Keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. No refrigeration needed — raw honey stays stable and fresh at room temperature.
